New York City has a vast spectrum of people with special talents everywhere. People are more likely to be more successful with social navigation and resources easily accessible to them. FEEL NYC application allows you to search by profession and borough for talent or service. Whether it’s a film shoot, special event, music audio/visual production. This network will allow you to connect with one another in your neighborhood unlike before. 

Join FEEL NYC's community for our cultivation of social/professional relationships within our city. Get the scope on the latest news and events in the city from the people. Party with people you can work with! Lets grow together faster! Learn more about your city from people who live in your neighborhood. Get to know the neighbor you have seen every day but haven't had anything to say but "Hello," because you didn't know if had something in common. For instance, find out where the sale of local quality foods, products and services from online "word of mouth." Feel NYC's native New Yorker go-getters vibe, unapologetically, unafraid to be our best selves authentically. In New York City when we say you "You feel me?" this means, do you hear me? See me? Understand me? This is what all people want at the end of the day. 

Many of us are on the on-start to new ventures and need guidance along the way. Find your next mentor for your new project, career, entrepreneurial conquest.  Yes, there is plenty of information online, however; FEEL NYC is designated specifically to New York City's inclusive vibe, connecting New York City residential people with the city's resources and each other... creating a clear optimal perspective of what advantages and incentives that are available. FEEL NYC's mission is to create a tight knit community for curation of innovative progression of ideas to fruition.

As the founding member, Shawnna Wardlaw had idea to continue her community service career her way after working for the city government for several years… Assistant Film and Event Specialist of Department of Citywide Administrative Services, DCAS. She  coordinated events and filming with productions permitted at the time in 55 DCAS government building locations.  After being promoted to Administrative Assistant to the Commissioner & Deputy at Mayor's Office of Veteran Affairs now called Dept. of Veterans Affairs. Shawnna Wardlaw left city government entirely to purse her acting career. Her passion for sharing resources, civil service came natural and was warranted to form a more efficient way in doing so. Therefore, she continued to help an improve circumstances of anyone she encountered.

When COVID-19 hit many people at home needed much assistance. Whether it was the lasted health hack; news on the infection; information on city initiatives; DIY trends, etc... you name it we were chatting about it online. Online was more personal and a go-to for connection then ever. We shared personal heartfelt stories on what is was like during the pandemic.  Some of us were having a hard time in the Arts. For example: Self tapes were becoming the new norm in submitting for an audition. So many people were crying out for help it was daunting just to see the discourse. The support was there, the guidance was needed. By developing this network we bring people together from different backgrounds who wouldn't normally come together but get together for creating a common interest. Find a way you can contribute in your neighborhood here. You never know, your advice can help someone reach their dreams or even help with their current circumstances.
